HUMAN TRAFFICKING
It is the illegal trade in human beings through recruitment or abduction by means of force, fraud or coercion for the purposes of forced labor, debt bondage or sexual exploitation.
The total number of reported cases in the U.S. was 10,949 in 2018 and 51,919 in 2019.
After drug dealing, human trafficking is tied with the illegal arms industry as the second largest criminal "industry" in the world today and it is the fastest growing.
